The high mountains in Bulgaria the Rila, the Rhodopy and the Balkan range are our stomping grounds for horseback riding. You will ride in the heart of the gorgeous Bulgarian nature vast oak and beech tree forests, endless lush pastures, beautiful mountain lakes with crystal water, mountain streams and rivers, fresh air, sparkling blue skies, sun one of the most sunny countries in the world; freshness wonderful climate temperatures during the summer months 22° C - 30° C / mild climate /; riding through fresh meadows alongside rivers and streams, beautiful views of surrounding plains and valleys. OUR BASIS: the ISKAR HUNTING RESERVE situated in 1 hour drive from Sofia airport ( available in 1½ - 2½ hours from LONDON, PARIS, MUNICH, FRANKFURT, VIENNA, MADRID, LISBON, ZURICH ).

OUR PROGRAMMES
ACCOMODATION: in a comfortable forest lodge in the heart of the reserve, on full-board basis; excellent service and traditional Bulgarian cuisine.
RIDING: short walks in the reserve, one (two) day tours in the vicinity / the Rila mountain /, picnics.
RECOMMENDED STAY: from 4 to 7 days.
In addition to your horseback riding trip: Fishing, bow shooting, photosafari, walks, tourist visits; in the resting hours: water skiing, surfing, suntanning and swimming ( July /August ).
FOR EXPERIENCED RIDERS AND FOR BEGINNERS !
We provide you with all the services from and to Sofia airport. You can choose between the RILA the highest mountain on the Balkan peninsula ( the peak of Mussala 2920 m.) with typical Alpine relief, high steep slopes, deep valleys, moraines, beautiful mountain lakes 189, pastures, rocks, predominantly coniferous forests, glaciers and permanent snows on the high peaks. The RHODOPY a mountain in South Bulgaria with enormous forests broad-leaved and coniferous, typical Karst formations and volcanic shapes, great number of caves, mineral water springs, swift-flowing rivers, valleys, pastures. The highest peak Perelik is 2191 m. The Rhodopy is the land of the Thracians praised by Homer in The Iliad, the mountains of the legendary singer Orpheus and his beloved Euridika. Authentic nature, vast game and vegetation resources a great number of protected biospheric reserves. The BALKAN range a mountain range passing across the country from West to the East until the Black Sea, which gave the name of the peninsula. Predominantly broad-leaved forests ( oak, beech, hornbeam ), the highest peak Botev, magnificent views, mountain rivers, rock and cave formations, pretty villages, canyons, gorges.
